Laughing at Days to Come

This past weekend held the 4th annual Women of Glory meeting in Northwest Arkansas hosted by McKinney International. The theme was Free to Be the Virtuous Woman and many women remarked how they had never heard Proverbs 31 ministered in such a balanced and freeing way. Every speaker had unique insight about various verses and topics that flowed from personal prayer and fellowship time with the Father. I was asked to share based on verse 25.

When combining various translations, it reads like this: She is clothed with strength and dignity (NIV); Strength and honor are her clothing (NKJV) and her position is strong and secure; (AMP) she has nothing to fear, (VOICE) and she looks forward to the future with joy.(NCV) She smiles when she thinks about the future. (VOICE) She rejoices over the future [the latter day or time to come, knowing that she and her family are in readiness for it]! (AMP) She can laugh at the days to come. (NIV) She laughs without fear of the future. (NLT)

In the midst of what
can seem to be
growing chaos and
confusion in the
world, it was good to
be reminded that we
can see things from a
different perspective—
HIS—and not have
fear about the future, but joy! It was a wonderful time of remembering and celebrating what ultimately is to come, too... the Bridegroom, our Lord Jesus, returning for His Bride, the Body of Christ! Truly, there is great joy in that, no matter what the circumstances are around us. This hope that is before us gives us strength, purpose and assurance and He’s preparing His Bride for His soon-coming return. Are you allowing Him to do His work in and through you? Oh...How He loves us!

For now, I’m getting ready to meet with another campus organization in Fayetteville, AR regarding Day of Beauty this week, and preparing for my graduation this weekend. I’ll be finishing my second module for my Life Coaching certification in a few weeks, too. I’m looking forward to the months ahead...a new season is about to begin!
