As many of you know, 2015 has been what I have come to call a sabbatical year for me. Although I did fulfill a commitment to go to Hong Kong in January and February to teach and administrate things at the school there while the Crowls were itinerating in the States, at the direction of the Lord I took some major steps back from ministerial commitments this year both at my local church and overseas. Honestly, in so many ways it was a crucifixion of my flesh! I had been going rather hard and fast these past few years, but the Lord in His wisdom knew that it was time for me to stop and rest.
Recently, the Lord gave me three words to describe what He has been working into me through these last months: Obedience...Trust...and Surrender. I am so grateful that I chose to yield to His instructions. It was necessary for so many reasons and in so many ways. I am stronger than I have ever been and ready to move forward into some things that He has been revealing to me and stirring in me afresh and anew. I am excited to keep in touch with you about what’s ahead in the months to come!
