Saturday had a real change of plans because at the last minute the Women's Meeting at Bay View Lutheran in Wisconsin had to be cancelled. I still went to their evening service on Saturday night, though, and the Pastor had me get up and share for a few minutes. It was also very special because it was missions weekend at their church. My Grandma used to make quilt tops that were sent all over the world, and this happened to be the Sunday when Bay View was praying for this year’s quilts. They had them all out on the pews. It was wonderful to be able to join them in prayer as well as to honor the memory of my Grandma in the midst.
On Sunday night at Door of Life Church, 30-35 young women from the local Junior High and High School were there. Many denominations were represented as well as many who were not active in church at all. From my heart I can say that each one encountered the Lord and His love as He ministered to them while I shared from my personal testimony. The pastor's daughters invited people to come forward for prayer at the end and not many did, but it was more about them having a personal encounter with Him. I could see Him working in them, touching them, changing them and healing places in their hearts as I spoke and then as we took time to personally receive His love right where we were. It was incredible! The pastor’s daughters were also able to help with the service and it was wonderful to see them be bold to take their place in ministry. Afterwards, I was able to hear some of the stories of how people were impacted. The Holy Spirit was present to heal the broken hearted... and He did!
No I’m back to Rockford repacking, regrouping and refocusing for Greece! I appreciate your prayers as I go, and will share reports as I can. Blessings!
