At first I saw a river… It was a winding river, but as the rain of His Spirit was falling, the river was overflowing its banks. There was a boat on the river, but as the water spread over the land, the boat was able to travel to and access places it hadn’t been able to before… reaching places that hadn’t been able to be reached before…
Then I began to speak out… Rowing, rowing, rowing… There’s been so much effort in the past, and you’ve wondered, “will we ever reach our destination?” And it’s seemed so hard. But now is the time to put the oars away- to stop working in your own strength. Instead, it’s time to put out the sails and to catch the wind of the Spirit. The Spirit will blow and take us where we need to go… even if it seems, at times, that we are going against the current.
He is doing the work. We are simply to stay in the boat to go where the wind of His Spirit takes us, doing what He instructs us to do. But along the way, we must also keep our ears open to hear His voice that may say to go… to step out upon the waters... to go the distance… stepping out upon His Word. Miracles will be seen, and the Bride she will arise… arising in the east… and her light will shine… Amen...
