Remembering with Joy

I've been thinking a lot about Australia this week... especially because this weekend is the first graduation for the RHEMA Bible Training Center in Australia!  What joy to know that God allowed me to be a small part of the beginnings of the school when I went there for my internship for the School of World Missions and later on a God-assignment for much of 2009.  The Cameneti's oldest daughter also graduates from High School this weekend. It would have been wonderful to be there for both of these milestones, but I still take joy in celebrating with them from the other side of the world.  The team of people there are precious, and they have been so faithful to follow God's leadership and direction so His plans for Australia and the surrounding nations will come to pass.

Here in the Tulsa today, a group of us were getting God's heart and direction for another God-assignment... the "Out of the Ashes" conference December 3rd and 4th. The focus for the weekend is ministering to women who know someone, or who may be struggling personally, with depression, eating disorders, self-harm or other addictions. On Friday night at 6:30PM, I will be sharing from my own testimony of God leading me out of years of depression, suicide attempts and cutting. I know God will use what is shared by each of the women speaking that weekend to minister His love to those present.  It was a good time today for the team to come together and unify our hearts through prayer and planning.
