I’ve been reminded in recent days of another exchange I had with the Lord in prayer last fall…where His Words remain timely in the here and now:
Oh, Lord! I’m so grateful for JOY and LAUGHTER!! I am so thankful that You’ve given both to us as weapons for our spiritual warfare! Who would ever imagine that prayer, laughter, praise and even tears would be the strategies You would give to us to withstand the enemy and maintain the victory You’ve already won for us!! But that’s the key! Remembering that You’ve already won! You are doing so much in these days! I’m watching Your Body come alive! I’m watching the hunger of people increase to know You! I’m witnessing transformation as people yield to Love and come into Your Kingdom! I’m walking in the ongoing transformation and sanctification You are working out in my life, too! My gratitude can’t be contained and my joy is full!
Yes, Beloved. Even as what you see and declare is true, it is also true that in the world there is the tribulation that I spoke of as well. But you are right to be encouraged as you remember that I have overcome the world. I take joy in your seeing this and remembering, Beloved, because it is truly there that your joy remains full. Continue looking to Me that I may keep you in perfect peace with your mind and heart stayed on Me because you trust Me. Again, I say that righteousness, peace and joy combined are when My Kingdom is fully demonstrated, not only within you but upon the earth. I am coming soon for the Kingdom being established, first, by each of you, My Bride. And My Kingdom will come and My will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Rest in Me. See Me provide. See Me declare My works among the nations through those who have surrendered their hearts to Me. Remember, child, that you are one, and that my gifts and callings are without repentance. This day holds opportunities if you will see them, so go forth with heart and eyes wide open as you find your strength in Me.
