While part of my purpose for being in Hong Kong this time was website strategizing for RBTC Hong Kong and voiceover work for the RBTC Online Mandarin project, my favorite assignment this time was teaching in the RBTC Hong Kong classroom! Supportive Ministry is an area very dear to me and I believe the students caught what is at the heart of it all: Servanthood. All of the students in class are already actively serving in their church's ministry of helps, but I still had numerous students approach me after class to share how what was taught challenged and changed their perspective on how and why they were serving. They were also able to see how having a heart of a servant is meant to spill out into every area of their lives...not just in serving at church. I look forward to being able to share with them again when I travel back in January to teach a course on “The Life of Honor”. They are a great group! For now, though, it's final packing time for my trip to Thailand tomorrow!
