In an e-update I wrote last fall, I spoke of my ministry time in Brevard, NC and what a place of refreshing it was to me. I also mentioned about the college campus there, and how my heart was stirred for that place. Well, not long after writing that e-update, the Lord began speaking to me about making Brevard my new home. I’d known transition was coming, but I admit, moving to North Carolina was initially a surprise to me! Even so, it was definitely His direction, and as I progressively made my move there, I have been so blessed to follow His direction. I have connected with Spoken Word Church Brevard and Pastors Sam and Sharon Bradham, and have discovered a wonderful church family and place to call home. In between overseas trips, I’ve been helping with worship and outreach at the church, and am especially excited to see how opportunities on the Brevard College campus will continue to develop. Just this past week I was blowing up balloons again with the church to be a blessing to the community at their 4th of July event (called the Heart of Brevard), too. It was great fun!
