The Scars Speak- Coming to Share the Story...

After 5 1/2 years of facing an addiction to cutting and self-harm, Sarah was finally able to stop a few months before rededicating her life to the Lord in 1996. But the physical scars were constant reminder of a past she wanted to forget. She was often embarrassed when people noticed the marks on her arms, but she knew God still had a plan.

In 1999, Sarah consecrated her scars in a simple time of intimate prayer with the Lord. "Father, I don't know why these scars are still here, but the one thing I would ask is that you would use them for your glory." What happened next, through His miraculous healing, has provided a platform for her to do just that... give God glory.

In "The Scars Speak", Sarah shares from her personal testimony of how God delivered her from the darkness of depression, suicide attempts, self-harm and unhealthy relationships. Truly, He is the healer of the brokenhearted and gives Beauty for Ashes. It is a story of hope for those who are in or have been through dark times, as well as for those who are walking alongside others who are facing similar challenges. Sarah has especially seen this message touch the heart of youth and young adults but knows God's purpose is to use it to impact both young and old alike.
